Rourkela Plus is an initiative by Bhawani Garg. Our platform aims to be a vibrant hub for connecting the global Rourkela community and showcasing the Greater Rourkela Area to the world.

Our Objectives:

  1. Connecting the Rourkela Diaspora: We aim to unite people who have roots in Rourkela, no matter where they are in the world, and keep them connected with the happenings in their hometown.
  2. Timely News and Updates: Our platform delivers real-time news and developments related to Achievements, Infrastructure, Education, Healthcare, and more. No more waiting for the next day’s newspaper – stay informed with up-to-the-minute updates.
  3. Fostering Community Engagement: We provide a virtual space where Rourkela residents and well-wishers can discuss, collaborate, and take initiatives to make the Greater Rourkela Area a better place to live.
  4. Raising Awareness: By highlighting Government and private sector efforts, we aim to create awareness among Odia citizens, civil societies, and intellectuals, and expedite the development process in and around Rourkela.

While Rourkela Plus primarily focuses on Rourkela, we also cover surrounding areas including Rajgangpur, Kansbahal, Bonai, and parts of Sundargarh.
